Applying

When you see an open position that matches your qualifications and interest, we encourage you to apply online. It only takes a few minutes to create a profile and upload your resume. Including a cover letter is a nice touch, but not required.

Interviewing

The telephone interview: If your qualifications and experience match the position's needs, a member of our Human Resources team will arrange a telephone interview at your convenience. The call, which typically lasts 30 minutes, is an opportunity to learn more about one another. We encourage and appreciate it when candidates do research on Park Bank in advance and are prepared with questions about the position and the bank.

The in-person interview: If there's mutual interest in scheduling an in-person interview, we'll work to set it up as quickly as possible. You'll be happy to know that our our approach to interviewing is down-to-earth, friendly and conversational. We'll share a realistic preview of what it's like to work at Park Bank and be a member of our team. We're clear about the traits you'll need to be successful in the role based on our company culture and values. And we look for candidates who are equally straightforward in describing their experiences, interests and motivators.

Making the Decision

After our interview, we’ll be in touch. At this point, we’ll share our feedback and ask for yours.

If we both decide to continue with the process, we'll begin checking references and answering your more in-depth specific questions. If you're selected for the position, we will call you to personally discuss the offer. You'll receive the formal offer in writing immediately afterwards, including additional details about our outstanding package of benefits and perks. All offers are contingent on successful results from a criminal background check, drug screen and other verifications as defined by the role. If you accept the offer, you'll be met with sincere enthusiasm and our team will begin preparing for your arrival!

Onboarding

Prior to your first day, we conduct the background checks, drug screening and other pre-employment "to-do's". We take special care to make sure you know what to expect each step of the way. Your first day experience typically begins by meeting with a member of our HR team. Then it is on to meet your manager and team. We provide you with an onboarding guide full of information and resources to help you transition to your new environment. We have an official check-in at the 60-day mark to learn what onboarding aspects you enjoyed and where you think we could improve. We pride ourselves on providing all team members with a "high-touch" experience throughout their years with Park Bank. We know we've done our job when we hear you're happy with your decision to join Park Bank and that your experience matches what was shared throughout the process.
