Visa Debit Cards
A Visa® Debit Card works like a check, only better —when you make purchases, the amount is deducted directly from your checking account, but with the added security of a Visa card.
- You can choose to sign your name when making a purchase (by selecting ‘credit’) or enter your 4-digt PIN (by selecting ‘debit’).
- You can use your debit card to withdraw cash at any ATM terminal or when making a purchase at a merchant when you choose the ‘debit’ option. Your Park Bank Debit Card gives you access to thousands of no-fee ATMs.
Your Visa Debit Card comes loaded with features to keep your money protected:
- You’re protected from fraudulent charges with Visa’s Zero Liability Policy*. That means 100 percent protection for you. Whether you purchases online or in a store, you pay nothing for fraudulent activity.
- Park Bank provides you extra protection by monitoring your debit card transactions for potentially fraudulent activity, including an unusual geographical change or a string to costly foreign purchases. Get more details about debit card monitoring.
- Each Visa Debit Card uses EMV technology, which equips your card with a secure microprocessor chip that performs cryptographic processing during a payment transaction to authenticate and verify the cardholder.
*Certain restrictions, limitations, and exclusions apply and benefit configuration may vary. Please contact Park Bank for full program terms and conditions, and to confirm specific coverage levels. Visa’s Zero Liability policy does not apply to certain commercial card and anonymous prepaid card transactions or transactions not processed by Visa. Cardholders must use care in protecting their card and notify the issuing financial institution immediately of any unauthorized use and for additional details. If you notice fraudulent activity on your Visa Debit card, promptly contact the bank to report it. It is important to continually monitor your monthly statement to identify any unauthorized transactions.
